OCFF Grants to OPS Greenhouse Project

The O’Neill Community Foundation Fund recently donated $1,000.00 to the O’Neill Public School Greenhouse Project. The funds will help OPS erect an educational greenhouse on school property.

The Greenhouse will allow OPS students in grades K-12 to have hands-on experience growing, nurturing and caring for plants. As the students’ depth of knowledge and involvement increases, the project will encourage careers in agriculture and other related professions. They also hope to share the produce raised in the greenhouse with community members that want to provide fresh produce to their families.

The O’Neill Community Foundation Fund is excited to help enrich the quality of life in the O’Neill area both today and in the future.
